Q: will the 17″ wheels from a 1996 ford mustang cobra fit a 2003 ford mustang coupe?
A: Yes
Q: how much does the ford shelby cobra daytona coupe cost on test drive unlimited for xbox 360?
A: $1,000,000 but it’s pretty rare…have patience. I souped mine up and its pretty fast. Best car in it’s rank
Q: In the year 2000, did Ford make a Cobra Mustang?
I have a 2000 Ford Mustang Coupe that has a Cobra bumper and decals. Everyone thinks its newer than a 2000 and someone mentioned that in 2000 Ford didnt make Cobra’s. Is this true and does anyone know why and what year they were made?
A: it could be the Canadian model..

Q: Is it true that the 2000 V6 Mustang Coupe came with the cobra suspension package?
I have heard off a website that I cant seem to find anymore that the year 2000 Ford Mustang came with the cobra suspension package because that was the year that cobra mustangs took the year off to fix some issues that they had with the 1999 Cobra. Is this true?
A: I own a 1999 Mustang GT and not even that came with a cobra suspension. I wouldnt think that they would spend the money on a 2000 V6. Ive driven a friends 2000 V6 and trust me it did not feel like it had any performance suspension.
Q: does any one know the weight of a 1998 ford mustang cobra?
I also need the horsepower and torque, for both the coupe and convertible
A: Coupe wieghts 3393lbs. dont know the convt. wieght. both have 305hp and 300ft-lbs.
Q: Ford Cobra or Infiniti G35?
I have a decision to make and I just wanted opinions of everyone on here….
1999 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT (non supercharged)
or
2004 Infiniti G35 Sports Coupe
both have very similar gas mileage, both are almost even quarter mile and 0-60 times, pretty much everything is similar which is why I am asking.
The Cobra is around 10,000
while the infiniti is around 20,000
insurance prices are very similar
I also should probably add this is going to be my first manual transmission car, what would you say?
opinions??????
A: no question– the Infiniti!! much better reliability, and it’s 5 years newer than the Ford. i hope you already know how to drive a manual. if not, you should learn on a cheaper/less nice car before you thrash your new Infiniti’s transmission.
Q: buying used Mustang Cobra, help?
I am buying a 1997 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Coupe with the engine from a 04 Cobra. What problams should i look for when i inspect the car? are there any problams that are commen with this car? thancks for your help.
A: quite a few mustangs have swapped in the cobra (terminator) engine, because it is so very strong and likely one of the best engines ford has produced in terms of quality of internal components, and overall performance.
this can be an excellent purchase, and because the engines stand up to a lot of hard driving they are quite dependable.
as answerer Vipassan said have a pro shop ck it out…..
do a full ck including compression test.
basic questions:
-engine swap accompanied by swap of the t-56 6 sp transmission? and was the transmission upgraded to stronger spline??
-what clutch is the car running
-is it running stock supercharger, or has it been replaced and with what??
-what other installations have been done on this car to manage the power from the cobra engine??
-has the car had a custom tune of the engine (if so talk to that shop)
lastly MAKE SURE to see build identification to confirm it is a cobra engine! (lots of clones out there).
this can be a 1st rate car, if all cks out.
when you have time get on http://www.svtperformance.com/
its an owners forum for performance mustangs, register and then get onto the forum for 03/04 terminators (and look for “terminator talk”)
there is very extensive FAQ available there that will basically answer every question you might have about the terminator engine.
any other questions….the guys at svt will quickly help you out……

Q: Which car would you choose and why?
1. 2006 subaru wrx sti 6 speed.
2. 2004 ford mustang cobra coupe 6 speed.
Im just curious on the handling for this car, what can i do to make it better….
A: I have to concur with Trev on this one. The Mustang may be a better “hot rod”, but if you expect to own the car for any length of time, you may be much happier with the Subaru. The advanced technology the STI offers -all wheel drive, traction control, turbo, better gas milage, the list goes on,…- makes it worth the purchase.
You will be more then pleased with the handling of the Subaru, especially with AWD. Conversely, the “old” Mustangs are notorious for letting the end hang out in the corners -more fun, but not as safe- but then again, that is what some folks prefer.
Q: What would be a better car?
i’m looking at cars to get and i’m going to be 16 in september
i love fords but i dont know if i really would want one for my second car (i got a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am SE Coupe for my 15th birthday)
here is a list of cars i want and i would like to know which one to get and way
2004-2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4
2003-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Coupe
2003-2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Manual
1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS/Z28 Coupe Manual
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evoltuion IX MR

1994-1998 Ford Mustang Cobra Coupe
2006-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
1997-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Twin Turbo Manual (Not Spyder)
1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Manual
1998-2002 Pontiac Trans Am Coupe Manual
if your wondering how i’m going to afford the insurance don’t worry i’m goin to be going to the track every time they have it open to anybody and race for money
thanks in advance for your answers
djaca70
i wont need all the crap you listed to go to open track days i just need a helmet because its street cars vs street cars
A: ^^^ don’t listen to him^^^
hes never heard of street race Thursdays at the track… i love RWD Nissan and when you discover the sport of drifting, you’ll drop your love of fords and try to find anything RWD and LIGHT… Out of that list id suggest the 300zx…
But off that list id suggest a early model 1989-1993 240sx… They are reliable a fun cars to drive… the aftermarket possibilities are endless and if you buy a 240sx shell for $500 and put in a blacktop SR20DET for $3000 and throw in some coil overs and rims/tires for $2000… you’d have a fully built dirft car ready to drag and youll be the happiest kid with the fastest drift/drag car:)
Q: Which is better, ‘68 Mustang Coupe or ‘76 Corvette?
I am in the process of buying my first car and have narrowed it down to two choices, a 1968 ford mustang coupe that has a rebuilt cobra 302 engine with <1000 miles on it and a great interior, but some minor rust. My other choice is a 1976 corvette with no rust, rebuilt 383 stroker with less then <5000 miles, trans was just rebuilt around 50 miles ago. Which one will be more reliable as a everyday driver? Is one going to cost significantly more to maintain?
I understand that both cars are impractical first cars for a 17 year old but I have made up my mind so please do not try to dissuade me.
A: Minor rust? Check the cowl for leaks, check the frame rails, floor pans, shock towers. Minor rust has a bad habit of becoming major once you really get into it. If it has thick undercoating so you can’t see the pans well, or the cowl leaks, the Mustang isn’t going to be the best choice.
I’d suggest doing the same of the Corvette. Just because the body is fiberglass, the rest isn’t and that can mean hidden rust issues.
If both clean and the Stangs rust really is minor, I’d go with the Mustang. I’d also say you find out who rebuilt the motors. A reliable shop, with receipts to prove it, or a back yard shade tree mechanic? There’s no guarantee that either did a good job, but you’ve got a better chance with a shop.
Q: Does anybody have any ideas what prices these cars would be valued at?
1933 Pontiac Sedan
1934 Ford Coupe
1940 Ford Chop
1950 Buick
1968 Chevrolet Camaro
1969 Plymouth Roadrunner 383
1970 Chevrolet Nova SS
1970 Cobra Torino (RARE)
1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302
1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne Pickup
1972 Plymouth Barracuda
I’m not looking to sell them, I’m looking to put them on my house insurance
A: You can try looking them up on the Collector Car Market Review website. But they only give values on vehicles built between 1946 – 1979. So you are on your own for the first three in the list.
Specific values of these cars would depend on their condition, options, and originality.
Documentation also has much to do with the value. The ones you see going for the big bucks on the auction shows on TV are well documented with matching numbers engines. If you can locate the original build sheet for the vehicle, this is a good place to start.
Q: What do you think I should do? Buy a car or go on alot of out of country trips?
My parents have 5 cars, my sister has 1 car.
My dad has 2006 Chevorlet Chorvette and a 2007 Mercades SLK and a 1971 Ford Mustang 429 Cobra
My mom has a 2006 Porche Cayenne and a 2007 BMW M6 Coupe ( shut up the convertible was $12,000 more haha)
My sister has 2007 Nissan 350Z Roadster GT
They’re all insured in my name, and they let me drive them, my sister occasionaly lets me drive her car. For my 16 birthday my dad gave me $40,000 to buy a car, but I much rather go to other countries. I feel like I need more cultural experiance.I want a 2008 BMW M3, and really want to go on trips to other countries. Please decide my fate!
A: Who am I to tell you what to do?????
With your background, you should be able to do whatever you want, just do both. Tell Daddy you need more money, since that doesn’t appear to be a problem.
You can drive a Vette, a MB, 429 Cobra, BMW, and a Porsche. Why would you want to buy a car.
You already have a good selection. I’d like to see the parking lot you call a driveway.
good luck dude. You don’t need our help.

Q: Domestic Muscle vs Import Tuners Why and Why not?
Okay guys and gals this is for all of my var nuts out there. First and formost PLEASE do not start autobashing and bringing negative comments on my page, lets be adults about this.
Okay I’m a 29 year old Black male that was born into American Muscle by way of my father and uncles. My dad over time who owns his own body shop as collected several very popular muscle cars which are all in running condition because of the money he has put in them along with his mechanic know how lol! The list goes as thus alothough I can’t give the year of all of them but i’ll give some.
SS Nova 60’s
SS Monte Carlo 80’s
SS Impala Sport 64
Monte Carl two door coupe late 60’s
Ford Cobra 2
86 GT Mustang 302
89 GT Mustang
and the Big Baby that he will pass down to me in his will his favorite
Ford 69 Mach 1 Stroked
My dad even had a very nice green mercury cougar when the were popular and considered muscle cars, but as of now i’m really into the Imports, German and Japanese cars.
All of them are amazing in their own right as Sportscars and can do some amazing things with amazing looks to match. Today the American car companies still have some of the baddest street cars on the planet but are also lacking in some ares as well. I want a sportscar that can do it all but at a reasonable price, lets say under 60 grand. Most imports are better in handling than American cars and are alot more fun at the price range to push around the curves of a race track or curvy street.
So i’m posting this question to you all today
1. Which do you prefer Import Sportscars Tuned or Domestic Sportscars Tuned and why ? Explain without any bashing!
2. Do you prefer a Sportscar where it can do it all peform amazingly in a straitline as well as in the curves or only in a straitline?
3. If you built a Sportscar What make, Model will it be ? And will it be able to perfom on the Atlanta dragstrip or The Japanese Togue or Both?
Me Personally! I love my American Muscle as well as my European Exotics, and My Japanese speed deamons! I just love Sportscars!
A: My answers:
1. Which do you prefer Import Sportscars Tuned or Domestic Sportscars Tuned and why ? Explain without any bashing!
I grew up with Muscle cars. My dad was always working on his 64 Nova…I also grew up on Smokey and the Bandit….Mustangs, camaro, firebirds, GTOs, 57 Chevys…I love them all…But just as equally, I love my 96 Eclipse. I’ve been a huge fan of Mitsubishi since I first saw an 84 Starion. I love sport compact cars, heck I even like the Subaru WRX…
2. Do you prefer a Sportscar where it can do it all peform amazingly in a straitline as well as in the curves or only in a straitline?
I Prefer overall performance. A car needs to handle as well..otherwise any old box with wheels can have a huge engine and go from point a to point b with little excitment.
3. If you built a Sportscar What make, Model will it be ? And will it be able to perfom on the Atlanta dragstrip or The Japanese Togue or Both?
If I were to build a sports car now? I’d take the 09 Eclipse and throw in the Evo’s Turbo charged engine and AWD and remake the GSX for 2010. (Mitsubishi does have a prototype Eclipse Ralliart with a Evo engine and AWD)
