Q: Yesterday I saw a Ford SVT Cobra pick-up truck on the highway, very odd. Does anybody have any info on it?
I drive a 2003 Ford Lightning. When I drove by the ‘Cobra’ it was much smaller. It looked ALMOST like it had a sporty Ranger style to it. It had the Cobra emblem on the front and SVT on the tailgate. I’ve been attempting to find information regarding the vehicle via online. I have been having horrible luck. Hopefully the general public can help me figure out what exactly the -mystery- truck is and give me some more input. Thanks

A: For $15-$20 you can buy the emblems that say SVT and Cobra and attach them to any vehicle you want. You can have an SVT Cobra Escort if you want. Cobra’s and lightnings suffer from this alot. Someone with not alot of money buys a V6 mustang or a standard cab 2WD truck. buys the kits to make them look like the Cobra or the lightning so that they can feel like they have something special when they don’t. When approached for a race Most of the Cobra fakes will tell you no I don’t wanna race, You’d lose to bad, and alot of lightning fakes will say I removed the supercharger to improve dependability so it’s not that fast anymore. Lightning fakes are more apt to race than cobra fakes

Q: Alright Ford gear heads just another quick question?
So I have to pull the heads off my 2001 Mustang Gt … and well I was looking for parts online for my car and ran across DOHC heads…. If I bought those for my car what else would I have to do to the engine Or whatever else to make it work… or can it even be done…. how different is the GT block from the Cobra block ?

A: If the GT and Cobra are both 4.6 they are enterchangable. With the heads you may have to change the programming on the computer.

Q: why cant the clutch fork move..?
recently install a t5 in my 68 ford mustang coupe with a hydraulic clutch set up.. my problem is the clutch fork wont move to engage the clutch..i purchased this so called king cobra clutch online..i already removed the transmission 2 times.. at a point of just scatching my head.. lol note the hydraulic clutch is working it pushes fine.] when i remove it from mount.. please help!!

A: did you bleed the air out of the master cylinder and slave cylinder,do you have a release bearing on the input shaft. you may have defective parts
