A few Wayne County officials were promoted on Monday.

Assad I. Turfe and Tiffani C. Jackson have both been promoted within their departments. Turfe, former Wayne County chief of staff for Executive Warren C. Evans, was named the new deputy executive for Wayne County. Jackson was the acting director of communications was promoted to director of communications.
