Fox C-6 teacher accused of sending inappropriate photos to student
The sheriff’s office said deputies are looking into allegations that the teacher, who is in her 30s, sent photos to an underage student.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – A teacher is being investigated by the Fox C-6 School District and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office after allegations that she sent inappropriate photos to a student in the district .
The sheriff’s office said deputies are looking into allegations that the teacher, who is in her 30s, sent photos to an underage student. No charges have been filed.
The Fox C-6 School District and the Sheriff’s Office both said they are not identifying the teacher at this time.
In a letter to parents, Superintendent Paul Fregeau said the district launched an investigation as soon as they became aware of the allegations. He said they couldn’t provide more details as it’s a staffing issue.
The letter did not specify which school the teacher worked at.
“Know that the District immediately investigates complaints of employee misconduct and takes appropriate action in response, including removing employees from District property and denying future access to our schools and students. “, said Fregeau in the letter.
The sheriff’s department said the investigation is ongoing.

Out of respect for the privacy of our students and staff, and consistent with state law and school board policy, the Fox School District does not discuss specific personal matters. However, please know that the District immediately investigates complaints of employee misconduct and takes appropriate action in response, including removing employees from District property and preventing future access to our schools and facilities. students. Additionally, the district regularly cooperates with investigations by local law enforcement and state agencies. We encourage students and families to bring any concerns to our attention so that they can be addressed appropriately and promptly.
It is understandable that as a parent you would want to know more details about any matter involving student safety, but at the same time we need to be sensitive to student privacy and personnel laws. Public discussion of matters involving students and staff is prohibited by law and we are unable to share any further information at this time.
