Louellyn C. Robinson Obituary – Akron Beacon Journal

Louellyn C. Robinson, 85, died August 18, 2022.

Born in Mansfield, she had resided in Stow since 1969, graduated from Kent State University and had been employed as a teacher at schools in Columbus and Lorain. For 10 years she was organist at Grandview Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls before becoming a member of First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Louellyn enjoyed ballroom dancing, square dancing, was a member of the Stow Woman’s Club and the Stow Sunshiners. Music was a very big part of his life and Louellyn taught piano, organ and was a member of the National Organ Guild and the Delta Omnicron music fraternity.

Predeceased by her parents, John “Jack” and Ruby Craig, and her sister, Cynthia Wilcox, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cornelius Robinson; sons, Christopher and Dave (Dottie) Robinson; daughter, Lisa Schoenthal; granddaughter, Ashley Schoenthal, and her brother, Randall Craig.

The family would also like to express their deepest gratitude to home helper Vincentian Stewart for all the care and support she has given Louellyn and her family.

Pastor Michael Ward will lead the service Thursday, 11:30 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, 44221. Friends can call Wednesday, 4-7 p.m., at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, 44224, and at church on Thursdays, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
